This highly anticipated event will be inaugurated on May 24, 2025, at 6 PM, at the historic Casa Cavezzi, a Renaissance-era building that will serve as the perfect backdrop for Omacini’s captivating works.

Omacini’s exhibition is a culmination of her artistic journey and exploration of the concept of “correction” in her practice. As the winner of the fourth edition of the prestigious “Premio Massimiliano Galliani for the drawing under 40,” Omacini’s exhibition marks a significant milestone in her burgeoning career. The award, established to honor the legacy of the late artist Massimiliano Galliani, aims to support and celebrate the work of emerging artists in the visual arts.

“Correzione è una parola che mi risuona in mente da mesi,” Omacini reflects, as she delves into the intricate and often transformative nature of the creative process. Her artworks, which will be on display in the enchanting halls of Casa Cavezzi, showcase her ability to transcend traditional drawing techniques, weaving intricate narratives and evoking deep emotional responses from the viewer.

The jury for the “Premio Massimiliano Galliani,” which included renowned figures such as Omar Galliani, the artist’s father, and Fausto Torelli, the Mayor of Montecchio Emilia, commended Omacini for her exceptional talent and her unique approach to the medium of drawing.

Born in Venice in 1991, Omacini’s impressive academic background includes studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice and the École Européenne Supérieure d’Art de Bretagne in Rennes. Her accolades also include the Contemporary Art Prize from Rotary Clubs in Bonn, Novara, and Strasbourg, further solidifying her place as a rising star in the contemporary art scene.

The “Correzioni” exhibition promises to be a captivating and thought-provoking experience for visitors, inviting them to explore the nuances of the creative process and the power of artistic expression. The exhibition will be accompanied by a bilingual catalog, available in both Italian and English, providing deeper insights into Omacini’s work and her artistic vision.
