In 2025, Yosuke Yamanouchi presented “Drawing Up the Vestiges of Antiquity” at biscuit gallery in Tokyo and also brought the same title to Art Lab Aichi in Nagoya. Later that year, he continued his solo exhibition trajectory with “Return to Order and a New Premonition” at CANDYBAR Gallery in Kyoto.
During 2024, Yamanouchi’s solo practice expanded across both Tokyo and Kyoto. He showed “Moonlight and Madness” at biscuit gallery in Tokyo, followed by “Metaphysical Vivarium” at CANDYBAR Gallery in Kyoto. He also presented “Mind Wandering” at Ginza Tsutaya Books in Tokyo and “Narcissus and Mirror” at Kyoto Tsutaya Books in Kyoto.
In 2023, he continued with the solo exhibition “The Sixth Sense” at biscuit gallery in Tokyo. In 2022, he presented “Distortion” at CANDYBAR Gallery in Kyoto, further developing the visual language of his ongoing investigations.
In 2021, Yamanouchi exhibited “Glossy Pure Stroke” at CANDYBAR Gallery in Kyoto, and also presented “Mindfulness” at gallery b.tokyo in Tokyo. He additionally showed “To the Abyss” as part of the myheirloom pre-open exhibition.
Earlier solo exhibitions include “Weaving Thoughts” at gallery b.tokyo in 2020, marking the continuity of his artistic exploration over time.
Yamanouchi’s participation in group exhibitions includes shows that highlight both thematic alignment and expanding visibility within the contemporary art scene. In 2025, he took part in “biscuit gallery 4th anniversary exhibition ‘grid4’” at biscuit gallery in Tokyo.
In 2024, he was included in “biscuit gallery third anniversary exhibition ‘grid3’,” also at biscuit gallery in Tokyo. In 2023, his group presentation continued through two-person and multi-artist formats, including “silence and innocence” at biscuit gallery in Tokyo, as well as “biscuit gallery second anniversary exhibition ‘grid2’” at biscuit gallery. He also appeared in “Intersection” at Ginza Tsutaya Books GINZA ATRIUM in Tokyo.
In 2022, Yamanouchi joined the two-person exhibition “gap” at biscuit gallery in Tokyo and participated in “biscuit gallery first anniversary exhibition ‘grid’” at the same venue. That year, he was also part of “Blue Period Exhibition” at Terada Warehouse G1 Building in Tokyo.
In 2021, he participated in REAL by ArtSticker “The 6th Prophecy – The First Sentence” at KITTE 4F in Tokyo, continuing his presence across different exhibition contexts and formats.
Yamanouchi’s work has also reached broader audiences through art fair participation. In 2025, he took part in Art Fair Tokyo 2025 with the biscuit gallery booth. In 2024, he appeared again at Art Fair Tokyo 2024 with the biscuit gallery booth and also participated in Kiaf SEOUL with the biscuit gallery booth.
In 2023, he continued in similar international settings, presenting at Art Fair Tokyo 2023 with the biscuit gallery booth and also at Kiaf SEOUL with the same booth.
Project Vol.41 features Yosuke Yamanouchi’s solo exhibition titled “Yosuke Yamanouchi.” The exhibition runs from April 17 to April 30, 2026, with opening hours from 11:00 to 18:00.
