Luciano Caggianello, born in Siena, Italy, in 1959, is an artist and designer who began his career in the 1980s, engaging with various professional fields including advertising, illustration, graphics, and industrial design, particularly car design. Simultaneously, he embarked on a path of artistic research, which, after initial immersion at the Academy and interaction with artists from Turin, allowed him to evolve a range of representative and visual themes. This journey enabled him to establish a significant national and international exhibition presence.

Throughout his artistic path, Caggianello has published several books including “Intermediario Immateriale” (2003), “Parole altrove” (2014), “Aporia e Metamorfosi dell’Arte” (2019), “Fenomenologia del Quotidiano” (2020), and “Pubblicità .jPig” (2021). In recent years, Caggianello’s work has shifted predominantly towards perceptual and conceptual synthesis. This evolution reflects a reworking of the didactic, cultural, and intellectual threads from his diverse educational background, which spans applied industrial physics, architecture, and visual arts. His artistic goals center around thematic and conceptual projects and experimentation that navigate the interplay between concrete “poverty” and digital art. This approach emphasizes the notion of presentation rather than mere representation, inviting viewers to engage more deeply with the work.

Caggianello currently resides and works in Turin, Italy, where he continues to push the boundaries of contemporary art. His exhibition history includes significant participation in prominent events, notably the 59th Venice Biennale at Palazzo Pisani Revedin and ARTBOX Project Venice. He has also taken part in numerous international exhibitions such as “Wunderkammer – Le Stanze delle Meraviglie” in Pallanza, “Metamorfosi Visuali” at Open Art House Gallery in Ivrea, and exhibitions at various prestigious galleries in cities like London, New York, and Berlin. His works often reflect contemporary dialogues, addressing deeper thematic issues through innovative mediums.
