Giuliana Cunéaz, CODE IN MOTION

Giuliana Cunéaz participates in the group show CODE IN MOTION, exploring artificial intelligence, moving images, and new visions of reality. Curated by Chiara Canali, the exhibition runs from 10 to 14 October 2025 at Spazio The Bridge, Università IULM, Milano.

In conjunction with AI.motion, the Italian festival dedicated to cinema generated by Artificial Intelligence at IULM, the project opens to investigate the blurred boundary between human and machine through the audiovisual language. The show brings together works by international artists who deploy AI in video, generative cinema, and moving imagery to expand expressive possibilities.

Work on view: La belle au bois dormant, an interactive installation co-created with AI. Viewers are invited to lie down on a bed-sculpture and generate personalized images via AI. Each encounter becomes a unique, one-of-a-kind piece that fuses sign and dream.

The piece engages memory and dreamlike states within a technologically augmented framework, prompting reflection on our relationship with reality in an era of rapid AI-enabled image production. By situating a tactile, contemplative experience inside a contemporary AI-driven exhibition, Cunéaz bridges traditional installation practices with cutting-edge digital tools.
